Second Land is an open ended experimental collective with an ever revolving member roster and completely improvised live show. this recording was made in 2006 by the two founding members, Luke Hazard and Curt Seiss. most of the recording was done in one night with a photo theremin, a NAB cartridge machine, and some effects pedals. while the album is very much an ambient experience, it is rich in a sample-heavy environment and provides many moments of accute detail, making for an evasive listen and excellent replay value. after reviewing the album over and over, veteran experimentalists and respective record label owners Curt and Luke both agreed they'd never heard anything like it.
