Somewhere between raw skin, rusty tools, drugged hip-hop and robots trying to play jazz...exists BRTLMN. In the last year or so, BRTLMN released several EPs online and remained fairly under the radar, and only now has he decided to come out of his cave long enough to give the world his first stasis-pod seedling, Horsemeat. Not unlike his catalog up to this point, Horsemeat is sonically both man and machine, flower and grease, ambient and foreign-tongue. It is something you can nod your head to, as well as something you can let wash over you non-rhythmically. Like bits of recognizable objects in a dense fog, BRTLMN takes apart everything around you and rearranges it into a fragmented surreal landscape. And now thanks to EED, you can let BRTLMN play ping-pong with your brain for only $10.50.
