Need Help Making a Net-Labelesque Site
Ok, I have everything set up...domain, good web hosting and I have Seditio (previously Land Down Under) installed. Problem is, I have no idea how to make a practical site with the bugger! Basically I want a little site set up for me and my friends to easily distribute our music in a similar manner to that of the Experimedia site. Tibbar, I really like the sites you've done in the past, are you familiar with Seditio/LDU? My main priority is the way its all setup, like releases on the homepage, then the options at the side for downloads etc., audio player on the homepage and that kind of nonsense. Not overly fussed about the actual artistry for now. So everything is set up, I think it just needs someone who knows a bit about page layout codes and stuff along those lines. If anyone is willing to do it I can pay them, albeit not much as I'm a lazy bum student! Just PM or email me if you're interested, thank you

i don't know about php, nor any software that helps you make sites. i just write it all in html from scratch on notepad.
take a look at some sites you like and steal their code, then work from it and make it yours, i suppose.

Cheers for the advice matey, I've thought about just using good old html...and it's still a consideration. The beauty of using database themed websites such as Seditio is that you don't have to touch any website builders, and there's more of a sense of interactivity there I feel as people can easily post news, files etc. I'll have an ask on the Seditio forum for certain bits of code that I need, that might help! Hopefully I'll get it up and running one way or another, I have lots of ideas floating around in my head and would love to put them into practice one way or another, it's just a case of learning and researching I guess. Thanks again, and cheers for the welcome...I love the Skytree and Milieu hard-copies, and hope there are many more to come!

i use raw html & photoshop, man... and occasionally front page to just drag shit around.
good luck with all that & dont bite off more than you can chew, its an uphill battle duder.
